Our Story
Cross Roads Agencies and Repairs S.A. was founded in Panama by Mr George P. Livanos (r.i.p) of Ceres Hellenic Shipping Enterprises as in-house agency & management office for the company merchant fleet.
Ceres Hellenic Enterprises one of the most traditional Greek ship management companies founded in 1949, but family shipping interests dating back to 1824.
“Camara Maritima de Panama” was founded, Cross Roads Agencies and Mr George P. Livanos being founding members.
Cross Roads Agencies and Repairs S.A. officially commences operations in Panama, serving Panama Canal and all Panamanian ports. The office was established and managed by Port Captains and Port Engineers combining sea-going and shore experience along with highest academic qualifications.
Capt. Michael G. Angelikoussis (R.I.P) arrives to Panama, carrying 30 years of sea-going experience as Master Mariner on ocean-going vessels of Ceres. He becomes the General Manager of the office.
Demetrio Katsoudas joins the company as Assistant General Manager with 5 years of local experience in Panama Canal as operator and senior boarding officer.
Capt. Michael G. Angelikoussis and Demetrio Katsoudas become Managing Partners of Cross Roads Agencies S.A.
Atanacio Katsoudas joins the company as Senior Operator and Boarding Officer carrying more than 10 years of local shipping market experience.
New offices including customs bonded warehouse in tax-free processing Zone of Corozal Ancon, Balboa.
Capt. Michael Angelikoussis, President of Cross Roads Agencies S.A. passes away (1944-2011). His survivors George and Stamatis join in the board of directors.
Our management quality systems certified by Bureau Veritas under international standard ISO 9001:2015.
Stamatis Angelikoussis moves permanently to Panama, together with Demetrio Katsoudas are the new Managing Partners of the Company.
New bigger offices and warehouse in Corozal processing zone, company expands its activities by establishing dedicated Ship Supplies and Marine Logistics & Forwarding desks to better cater the shipping needs and requirements by offering complete and wider set of services.
Partnership with Captain Nemo, become market representative and stock point in Panama for pilot, embarkation ladders, holding magnets. E.U. high quality manufactured products certified by IACS Member Classification Societies.
We actively cultivate environmental consciousness by fostering employee engagement in sustainable practices such as recycling and minimizing waste.
